Terms of use
Effective 21 October 2026
The short version: use Tacy for your own lawful work, don't use it to harm anyone, and remember it's in early access.
Who can use Tacy
- You must be an adult (18 or older).
- A personal account is for one person. Don't share it or your sign-in.
- A firm account lets a firm give its people access. The firm decides who's on it.
- During early access, we may limit who can sign up and how many accounts we open.
What you can't use it for
- Anything illegal, including illegal content.
- Abusing, harassing or threatening anyone.
- Trying to break, overload or get around the service, or anyone else's security.
- Writing or spreading malware.
- Using agents to scrape websites in bulk, or to send spam.
No health records, for now
Don't put protected health information (PHI) into Tacy yet. We don't offer a HIPAA plan or sign business associate agreements today.
Your content
What you write, upload and get back stays yours. It's encrypted on your device, and we can't read it (see Privacy). You give us only the permission we need to store it and pass it along, encrypted, to run the service.
You're responsible for your content: only share what you have the right to share, and follow the rules that apply to your work.
How we enforce these terms
Because we can't see your content, we can't scan it. We rely on reports, and on what we can see, such as how often and how much an account sends.
Report misuse to support@tacy.io.
We may limit, suspend or close accounts that break these terms. You can delete a personal account at any time (Settings → Your data → Delete account).
Early access, provided as is
Tacy is in early access and provided as is. Its answers can be wrong, and it isn't professional advice. Read the Disclaimer.
Plans
- The free plan's limits, such as how many prompts you can send a day, may change.
- We don't take payments yet. Paid plans and their prices will be described here when they launch.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed.
For a change that matters, such as to what you pay or to your rights, we'll tell you in the app before it takes effect. Using Tacy after a change takes effect means you accept the new terms. If you don't, you can stop using Tacy and delete your account.
